Brief history
Vista was developed by USDA-ARS from breeding work begun in 2006 and was publicly released in 2021. It was selected for high yield, good agronomic performance and a modern aroma profile.
General description
A bright profile combining citrus with floral, herbal and sweet aromatic notes, often accompanied by stone-fruit and tropical-fruit impressions.
Brewing use
Particularly suitable for late hopping and dry hopping in pale ales, IPAs and modern lagers where a fresh, fruit-forward aroma is desired.
